Studybase at ScooNews Global Ed-Fest 2026

6–8 August 2026Clarks Amer, Jaipur

Three days at Clarks Amer, one stall, and a great many conversations we did not want to end. This year's edition was themed ABLE — India's first education summit on disability inclusion — and it was the right room to be in.

ABLE

The theme: disability inclusion

How the three days went

We came to Jaipur as exhibitors and spent most of the Fest at Stall #20, with the platform running live rather than sitting in a slide deck. Principals, directors, trustees and school owners walked up, asked hard questions about fees, reconciliation, progress cards and parent communication, and we answered them on real screens.

A special highlight was ABLE itself. Seeing so many leaders and changemakers gather around disability inclusion — and hearing what that demands of schools, of the people who run them, and of the software behind them — reframed a lot of what we thought we were building.

We were honoured to meet Prathmesh Sinha, Shriji Huzoor Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, 77th Custodian of the House of Mewar and Patron of Global Ed-Fest, and Padma Shri Javed Ahmad Tak, among many others. Some of the best moments were the quieter ones: reconnecting with partner schools, and meeting institutions who already knew us through a sister campus.

Thank you to ScooNews and the ABLE team for putting this together, and to everyone who stopped by. We are already looking forward to the next edition.

What we took away

Four things that came up often enough to count as a pattern.

Digitisation is now a growth decision

Group after group described the right digitisation strategy as the thing that decides how cleanly they can open the next branch. Not an IT project — an expansion plan.

Word of mouth travels between campuses

More than one school walked up already knowing Studybase, because a sister institution runs it. Air Force School, Jamnagar had heard about us from Air Force School, Jodhpur.

Inclusion has to reach the software

ABLE put disability inclusion at the centre of the agenda. It is a fair question to ask of every system a school runs, ours included, and we came back with a longer list than we arrived with.

Leaders want to talk to builders

The best conversations at the stall started when people realised they were talking to the founders rather than a sales desk. We plan to keep it that way at the next one.

We didn't get to everyone in Jaipur

If we missed you at Stall #20 — or you want to carry on where the conversation stopped — tell us your institution and what you're trying to fix. We'll have the right person and the right screens ready.
